Royal ties to Germany
In the midst of the commotion over Harry's ill-chosen costume, there was a good article that discussed the royal family's historical and sometimes uncomfortably close relationship with Germany. In fact, "George V's wife Queen Mary always maintained that Britain had "backed the wrong horse" in 1914."
