Peregrine Falcon web cam

This is cool.

"A camera is set up at the nest on the Pacific Gas & Electric Company headquarters building in downtown San Francisco. Last year a pair of peregrines created a nest on the 33rd floor ledge of the building, producing two offspring, which successfully fledged. As we prepare for the 2005 nesting season, we appreciate PG&E’s partnership to make this wildlife viewing opportunity possible. The cameras in the Nest Cam view are now live, and courtship displays are being observed daily."

The Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group
(SCPBRG) was formed in 1975 to restore an endangered peregrine falcon population in California. The peregrine falcon was removed from the federal endangered species List in 1999 and we are proud to have played a leading role in that success. It is doubtful that SCPBRG founders Drs. Roush and Norris could ever have imagined the tiny group they formed in response to the near extinction of the peregrine falcon in California would last so long and accomplish so much. Today, we are a problem-solving resource to government, corporation, and university researchers who require our unique expertise with birds of prey management.
