Completely off topic, you know those Nigerian email scams? Well I got my 1 billionth email about it yesterday. Having deleted many, I decided to reply:
Dear Mr. Chambers (or is it "Dear Mr. Chambers esq."?
I'm afraid I'm not very good at proper letter writing
etiquette, I had to miss school as a child to help my
father in the coal mines. He was blind. I'd lead him
to a coal deposit and stand in front of it and yell,
"hit here" and then duck really quickly so he wouldn't
put the pick axe into my face. I mostly got out of
the way):
Thank you so much for writing. I don't have a brother
named "Morie", but my father James, has a 2nd cousin
Jane, who's step-niece Joyce (her mom, Janet, was a
slut, but that's another story) married a Morton
Shannon. He may have died. Is it possible it's the
same person. If so how do I help insure the money
doesn't go to waste?

Now I couldn't imagine anyone taking that seriously, but I got a reply.
Given that these people are all about stealing I think he deserves to have his chain yanked. Anyone who'd like to draft a response to this guy, I'll post here for consideration and we can vote on the best response, which I'll send on. :)
